summer.pop.shopping stuttgart 10.+11. Sept.

zum ersten mal super sonders mit dabei: SiebenMorgen live beim summer.pop.shopping in der alten kelter, in stuttgart fellbach. ich freu mich sehr, es ist ein besonders schönes ehrwürdiges gebäude, in dem ich schon viele schöne ausstellungen bestaunen konnte. eine kleine "alles muss raus" kiste hab ich auch dabei und als gegengewicht ein paar hübsche nigelnagelneuigkeiten...yuhu! die zahnschmerzen lasse ich übrigens zu hause.

tata malt // tata painting

neulich großes aufgeregtes freudengeschrei im treppenhaus: "mama mama, schau! tata malt! bilder, neue, neue bilder!" mama schaut, aber da war kein neues bild am maltisch, auch nicht an der großen tafel im kinderzimmer. dafür aber im treppenhaus: ein esel! erklärt sie stolz. tata alleine gemalt! natürlich mit filzstift. naja, zum glück ist das treppenhaus mit zeichenpapier tapeziert. die gestaltungswut greift um sich, überall kleb, knet, farbe, kreide und gekritzel. seit neuestem auch mit augen. ich finds großartig ;)

a few days ago an excited call from the staircase "mama mama look! tata painting, new pictures!" so mama looked, but did not see any new pictures on the desk and none on the chalk board, but a brandnew one on the wall: a donkey! she proudly explained, painted all alone on her own. with markers of course. her creative outboost is nearly unstoppable, paint, glue and doodles all over the place. and obviously - she starts drawing faces. i love it ;)

the swallow print

eine schwalbe macht zwar noch keinen sommer, aber vielleicht einen güldenen september... bittebitte! erinnert ihr euch noch an den testdruck? ein größeres blatt und mehr mint musste her. die schwalbe wurde von hand auf japanpapier gedruckt, noch ganz ohne presse, und ist limitiert auf 25 stück.

ansonsten wenig erfreuliches: ferienende, tägliche zahnarztbesuche (argh!) und mehr siebenmorgen lookalikes. vielleicht sollte ich endlich mal ein casting veranstalten... oh und der tombolagewinn liegt auch noch hier: ruttini, bitte melden! was macht man eigentlich mit nicht eingelösten gewinnen?!

one swallow does not make a summer, but maybe a golden september...please! do you remember the test print? a bigger paper format and more mint was what the bird needed. the swallow was printed by hand (no press!) on japanese washi and is a limited edition of 25. apart from that the week was rather underwhelming: end of summer break, daily visits to the dentist and more siebenmorgen lookalikes. maybe i should start a casting show.... oh and - the tombola winner is still missing! ruttini, please get in touch! what happens to unclaimed prizes anyway?!

hallo druckpresse // hello printing press

aufgrund der extremen schönwetterlage musste die tombola-auslosung (153 kommentare!! mir wird ganz schwindelig ;) leider verschoben werden. stattdessen haben wir uns in die kühle heimische druckkammer geflüchtet, um endlich mal die alte druckpresse in gang zu setzen. toll, ganz neues arbeiten, aber für den anfang gar nicht schlecht. ich freu mich auf mehr...

because of the great weather i had to postpone the tombola (153 comments!! i get dizzy... ;) we spent the day in our cool home printing studio and finally set the old printing press in motion. not bad for the beginning, can't wait for more...... the winner of the tombola will be announced tomorrow :) have a nice sunday!

fundstücke // vintage finds

der trödelladen vorne an der strasse entpuppt sich als wahres schatzkistchen...so feine dinge! im neulich vorbeigehen haben wir eine alte, französische schneiderpuppe (für puppenkleider!), ein stempelset in lieblingsfarben und -töröö- einen elefant für lottas socken gefunden. freude!!

oh und: 137 kommentare!!! wow. ob's bis morgen 150 werden?! letzte chance, rein in den lostopf mit euch!

the vintage shop down the street is a real treasure box! we found these beauties a few days ago by just passing by: a vintage tailor doll (for doll clothes!), a stamp set in my favourite colours and an elephant for lottas socks. oh and: 137 comments!!! wow. do we make 150 until tomorrow?! last chance, come on and hop in..

neue geschenktüten // new gift bags

bin immer noch angeschlagen und nicht so recht in bloggerlaune, was vielleicht daran liegt, daß uns die telekom letzte woche mal wieder das internet abgedreht hat, warum nur? keiner weiss es... und genauso plötzlich sind wir seit gestern wieder online, fleissig am ablenken und produktion ankurbeln. ..wrap it up!!

wie kommts eigentlich, daß in hamburg immer alle hotels längst ausgebucht sind?! hiiilfeee.. solltet ihr am wochenende zufällig dort sein geht unbedingt zum MS Dockville Festival!! sophie eröffnet dort den hello handmade shop, ausgesuchtes und handgemachtes vom feinsten, SiebenMorgen ist auch dabei.. shop it like it's hot ;)

I'm still kind of damaged and not in the right mood for blogging..maybe because my internet was down for one week and i still don't know why. disaster!! at least i'm on again and try to distract myself with making stuff. production is running high... wrap it up!! (pssst...in case you have not noticed yet: i have stocked up my etsy shop, yay! it's fully loaded ;)
