bin immer noch angeschlagen und nicht so recht in bloggerlaune, was vielleicht daran liegt, daß uns die telekom letzte woche mal wieder das internet abgedreht hat, warum nur? keiner weiss es... und genauso plötzlich sind wir seit gestern wieder online, fleissig am ablenken und produktion ankurbeln. ..wrap it up!!

wie kommts eigentlich, daß in hamburg immer alle hotels längst ausgebucht sind?! hiiilfeee.. solltet ihr am wochenende zufällig dort sein geht unbedingt zum MS Dockville Festival!! sophie eröffnet dort den hello handmade shop, ausgesuchtes und handgemachtes vom feinsten, SiebenMorgen ist auch dabei.. shop it like it's hot ;)

I'm still kind of damaged and not in the right mood for blogging..maybe because my internet was down for one week and i still don't know why. disaster!! at least i'm on again and try to distract myself with making stuff. production is running high... wrap it up!! (pssst...in case you have not noticed yet: i have stocked up my etsy shop, yay! it's fully loaded ;)

es war an der zeit, meinem lieblingsfuchs einen (noch) größeren auftritt zu verschaffen. für einen fuchs von format unabdingbar! also hab ich ihn nochmal neu und in groß geschnitzt und tata! - hier ist er nun in voller pracht auf kleinen büchlein untergebracht... (handgedruckt, versteht sich, aber das reimt sich nicht so schön)

das weidenbäumchen habe ich schon letztes jahr aus japanischem stempelgummi geschnitzt und nun auf kleine moleskines gepflanzt, bzw. gedruckt. ich mag weiden. erinnern mich an meine fränkische kindheit und spaziergänge am bach entlang... blanko oder liniert im shop erhältlich.

und wenn wir schon beim herzfuchs sind: weil ich es einfach nicht übers herz bringe, k's babylocken abzuschneiden, haare im gesicht aber doof und hübsche haarspängchen eher rar sind, hab ich einfach selber welche gemacht. natürlich mit k's liebling, dem herzfuchs, und mit dem finken und dem kleinen eisbären. jetzt erhältlich bei den happy häckers.. :)

(haarzierrat - ein schönes wort! gibts das überhaupt?! was wär noch schöner?! vorschläge, ideen, geschichten, kommentare?! der schönste beitrag gewinnt zum valentinstag ein herzfuchs-set mit haftnotizen und haarspängchen! )

and when talking of the heart fox: as i don't have the heart to cut k's babycurls and pretty hairclips are rare, i made some myself! of course featuring k's darling, the heart fox, and also the finch and the little polar bear. now available from happy häckers...:)

("haarzierrat" is a pretty german word, it means something like "hair jewelry" which sounds rather boring, both in english an german. any suggestions for a prettier name?! the most pretty comment wins a valentine heartfox-set with sticky notes and hairclip. go for it! )

aaaahh, endlich tut die heizung wieder! endlich wieder warme füße, warme hände und warm ums herz. da fällt einem kurz vor (weihnachts)schluss doch noch was besinnliches zum basteln ein... 5 handbedruckte papieranhänger im formschönen set, zum geschenke aufhübschen, baum schmücken, etc.pp., gibts hier. mollig warme grüße an alle eingeschneiten & schnupfennasen..

endlich fertig! vor ein paar jahren habe ich mal eine reise an den nördlichen polarkreis unternommen, dort das dorf vom weihnachtsmann besucht, in einem hundeschlitten gefahren, rentiere gestreichelt und das eis gebrochen. dieser kleine print, mit selbstgeschnitzten stempeln handgedruckt, erinnert mich irgendwie an finnland.. als postkarte und weihnachtsklappkarte erhältlich.

finally done! a few years ago i went on a trip to the polar circle. i visited santa's hometown, had fun on a dog sled ride, hugged some reindeers and broke the ice. this little print, handprinted with handcarved rubberstamps, reminds me of finland. available as postcard or christmas greeting card

ah, was für ein tag! heute habe ich zum ersten mal im neuen atelier gedruckt, so richtig gedruckt, mit ölfarben und linoleum und terpentin und allem, nur ein paar stunden, aber das hat so spass gemacht! kann ich mich dran gewöhnen, der raum ist toll... und zu schönen ergebnissen hat es auch geführt, nur leider hab ich meine kamera zu hause vergessen und kann euch heute keine fotos zeigen. dafür aber dies: noch mehr broschen! die schlummern schon seit einer weile im bestand und sind nun endlich fertig und nur wenige male im shop erhältlich..

ah what a day! i have spent the day, or part of it, at the studio, printing there for the first time! i mean real printmaking, with linoleum, oil inks and whatnot, so much fun! i can get used to it, the place is great.. and the outcomings are quiet pretty, too, but unfortunately i left my camera at home, so i have no pics to show you today. but i can show you this: more brooches! they were waiting patiently in the drawer since i have made the first ones and now they are ready to go...have a good night!

und noch mehr neue sachen für mein papierlädchen: das kleine vögelchen singt euch ein liedchen! postkarten mit kuvert in 2 farbvarianten: koralle/weinrot oder hellblau/violett.
das kleine notizbuch ist mit cremeweiss und aubergine bedruckt, wird es aber bald auch noch in anderen farbkombis und auch in groß geben. möchte z.zt. von früh bis spät werkeln und jede minute wird genutzt. mir fehlen die weihnachtsmärkte. und nebenher bringe ich auch noch ordnung in meinen heimischen arbeitsplatz, doch davon zeige ich lieber keine fotos..;)

and more new stuff for my little paper goods shop: the little birdie sings you a song. postcards available in two different colors, coral/burgundy and light blue/purple. the little notebook also will be available in more color variations and in larger size. at the moment i'd love to work all day and night, every single free minute is used wisely. i miss the christmas markets. and on the side i try to bring order to my home desk, but i prefer not to show any pictures of this ... ;)

buttons!!!!

finally i got to play with the button maker machine i got for christmas last year. or was it my birthday?! anyway, i made a whole bunch of buttons with the siebenmorgen all stars, the most popular characters from my stamp universe: pedro the penguin, flo the fox and of course the lovebird.. all handprinted. get them before they're gone!!

as flo the fox found so many friends in such a short time, he is now featured on little moleskine journals!! of course handstamped with my handcut fox stamp and a handpunched bubble added- reminds you of everything you never intented to forget.

why's da sky blue? - miniprint

last week i worked on new stamps and print plates and ruined quiet a few. somehow my hand was not as steady as it should be and the easiest things went wrong. at least, the last and most important stamp i made, late at night, cut very carefully, almost like a linocut, the little birdie above, came out just the way i wanted, even a little better! yay! i tried to give the lines a more calligraphic look, more edgy. they remind me a bit of comic style lines, like in a marvel comic..
anyway, i then used it as planned for a new edition of miniprints, made another stamp for the lettering and colored the little bird by hand with thinned ink- and here it is:

finally - here it is! the new birdie postcard, made with the stamps i made a while ago (see below;)
perfect for birthday or - as each day is a day to BE - just for everyday's pleasure (you will meet this little Be birdie later soon on different occasions ...)


and i also promised earlier to make BIG SiebenMorgen Souvenirs, big surprise bags, and here they are!! filled to the rim with handprinted paper goodies, such as a postcard+envelope, 2 little greeting cards, 2 gifttags, handprinted stickers and origami papercrane.
all contents were carefully chosen to make a lovely match and each bag is a unique blend of little SiebenMorgen delights. you'll find them in my dawanda shop ... there are more to come

finally in the shops: the siebenmorgen surprise bag with a colorful mix up of the finest handprinted papergoodies!! for all who want get a little taste of all 49 siebenmorgen flavours, but can't decide which first... each bag is different, collect them all ;)

p.s.: it took me waaayy too long to finally get these done, wanted to do it way earlier and now, i promise, the big BIG supersized surprise bag will come soon, too....
