danke, hamburg!

es war großartig! großer dank an sophie und ihr hello handmade team, sie hat sich mal wieder selbst übertroffen. 5000 besucher!! unglaublich. und soo viele tolle aussteller, leider hat wieder die zeit gefehlt, all die schönen stände genauer zu bestaunen, aber so viele nette begegnungen, gespräche, entdeckungen und und und...ganz herzliche grüße an rike und sabrina, frau wahn nebst familie, doro ohne familie, alinea in natura, an meine standnachbarinnen die porzellanfräulein wiebke und steffi, an die freche nikoki, die uns mit ihren bärenjungs und hasenkerlen verführen wollte und natürlich an die bezauberin tine und den von karlotta heiss verehrten bärendompteur benniii! ich danke allen, die mich an meinem stand besucht haben, es war toll euch auch mal in echt zu sehen ;)

mein gößter dank geht an j, taco und karlotta für ihre liebevolle unterstützung und fürs durchhalten. ihr seid die besten!

so und jetzt gehe ich mich endlich mal auskurieren, ruhe und erholung sind angesagt. und ein klein bisschen arbeit, nur so nebenbei. schönes wochenende!

summer.pop.shopping // review

eher ein flop statt pop shopping in vielerlei hinsicht, aber wer will schon bei über 30° shoppen gehen?! gefreut habe ich mich über die tolle location, die vielen netten kollegen, alte bekannte und neue erkenntnisse. in diesem sinne: herzlichste grüße an j+k, sabine schoska, leela+dominik von kaalee, marianne, doreen von dachs dessert, andischu, frau wahn und an heike, die extra wegen SiebenMorgen nach stuttgart gekommen war. Danke!!

more a flop then a pop shopping, but who wants to go shopping with 30°C on the scale anyway?! I was happy about the great location, the lovely collegues, some old faces and some new insights. so warm greetings and thanks to all the lovely people, feat. above in the german section. they made my day ;)

P.S.: irgendwie funktioniert mein blog nicht richtig...könnt ihr ihn noch verfolgen?! ich muss mich ständig neu anmelden, was ist da los? wer kennt sich aus??

summer.pop.shopping stuttgart 10.+11. Sept.

zum ersten mal super sonders mit dabei: SiebenMorgen live beim summer.pop.shopping in der alten kelter, in stuttgart fellbach. ich freu mich sehr, es ist ein besonders schönes ehrwürdiges gebäude, in dem ich schon viele schöne ausstellungen bestaunen konnte. eine kleine "alles muss raus" kiste hab ich auch dabei und als gegengewicht ein paar hübsche nigelnagelneuigkeiten...yuhu! die zahnschmerzen lasse ich übrigens zu hause.

Hello everybody!

It has taken quiet a while for me to become a blogger, and right now, finally it's done! Welcome to my first blog EVER :D

Let me introduce myself shortly: My name is Tinee, living and working in the south of Germany in a teeny tiny old house with little garden. And therefore I apologize in advance for any abuse of the english language, which is not my native one, but I am quiet used to the abuse of it (harhar) and am too lazy to post in 2 languages. Please let me know if this sucks! I am a fulltime artist, mainly into printmaking. My hands never stand still, it's a little maniac thing sometimes and I am always busy busy busy. But you all know, boredom is a major plague, so I constantly try to entertain myself! I write this blog to share some of this entertainement with you guys. I don't know how it happened that it came this far, but i guess it all started in my quiet nice childhood, when i rather stayed home reading or drawing and totally freaking out when my (still) sweet little sister crossed and ruined some of my drawings. Then I went to the fine arts school and this was when i seriously got infected with that dangerous art virus. I guess making art is more an attitude towards life than else. What else makes sense on this planet? I think a lot of contemporay art is quiet boring because it is so theoretical and self involved (like me, ha!). So I am more into a nostalgic way of things, i like to handmake stuff, give more respect to traditions and good craftsmanships, pay tribute to everdays beauty. To make a living of this is a huge challenge. Not only do you need to have great new fresh and sparkling ideas, but you also have to produce things, manage yourself, promote yourself, do your own marketing, plan your timetable and and and. Phhheww! For me it is mainly a question of how I want to spent my time. The older I get, the faster it runs. So, yeah, I spent most of my time creating. Everything I make is handmade from first step to the last. I am no good in anything digital. This is why some of my pics my might look quiet shabby ;(
Today is a gray rainy day, a good reason to stay inside, stroll the internet and later work on some new little fancy things.
