hach, war das schön...ferien in der heimat! das paradies liegt inmitten von fränkischen spargelfeldern und rübenackern..ein sommertraum!

oh, this was wonderful...we spent the holidays in my hometown, on the franconian countryside. there's a little paradise amongst asparagus and carrot fields...a summer dream!

schwimmender eisbär // swimming polar bear

juhuuu, und wieder ein neuer stempel! habe beschlossen, mein stempelschnitzlevel etwas anzuheben - jetzt noch größere stempel zu schneiden, yay! auch wenn das stempeldrucken in der größe schon etwas komplzierter wird...warte noch auf stempelgummilieferungen und zeit zum schnitzen, dann gibts bald noch mehr formatfüllende, neue motive.
den polarbären mag ich besonders gern, wie er so gemütlich daherdümpelt..

yeehaw, and yet another new stamp! i have decided to step up my stamp cutting game a little - and to make way bigger stamps now, yay! even though stamp printing becomes quite complicated in this size...i am still waiting for more rubber that i have ordered and for more free time, then soon there will be more new, big motifs.... love the polar bear, though, and how relaxed he's floating around...

oOH, könnte nur jeder tag so anfangen!! ich sitze vor der haustür in der sonne, trinke einen kaffee und esse ein kirschmarmeladenbrot, da kommt der postbote mit einem päckchen voller kostbarkeiten daher! welch freude über soviele schöne dinge. kann es kaum erwarten, bis karlotta in den eulenlieben strampler passt - und das kleine hasenkind, allerliebst!

oOh, if only every day could start like this!! sitting in the sun in front of the door, drinking coffee and eating bread with homemade sweet cherry marmelade as the postman comes by, bringing me a package full of treasures! what a joy, so many pretty things. can't wait until karlotta fits in the little owl onesie - and the sweet little bunny pendant, too cute! thanks from the heart to the wonderful marga.marina and her animal friends ^_^

keller ausräumen // cleaning out the basement

wir haben angefangen den keller auszuräumen, der noch voll ist mit zeug von oma, tante etc. pp. uralte sachen, viel schrott, aber auch viel schönes. fällt schwer alles rauszuschmeissen...unser garten sieht aus wie ein flohmarkt!

we started to clean out the basement, which ist filled with old crap from grandma, aunts, etc.. lots of old stuff, lots of junk, but many pretty things, too. it's hard to get rid of everything, so our garden looks like a fleamarket..
