Inspiriert von alten Kinderbüchern aus den 60ern habe ich letztes Jahr diese Stempel geschnitzt: Der feine Herr Fuchs und die kleine Katze laden ein zur Teeparty. Jetzt erhältlich als Notizblock im praktischen Langformat und als Einladungskarte, wie immer aus 100% Recyclingpapier.

funken schnitzen // carving sparkles

Neulich abend zu fortgeschrittener Stunde sagte ich noch "Nun, heut' werd ich wohl kein Feuerwerk mehr entzünden", hab's dann aber doch gemacht. Ein Funkeln für die neue kleine und überaus praktische Winter-Stempel-Kollektion, in Bälde erhältlich.

viel // lots

Vor kurzem ist ein großes Paket Stempelgummi eingetroffen und nichts täte ich lieber, als nun stundenlang versunken vor mich hinzuschnitzen. Naja, der Anfang ist gemacht und für die Kürze der Zeit auch ganz passabel. Glück ist eben mehr als nur eine ruhige Minute.

Die Shops habe ich auch mal ein bißchen aufgeräumt, frisch sortiert und provisorisch mit neuem Banner versehen (s.o., der Eisbär braucht dringend mal Urlaub). Kann mir mal einer erklären warum das so grau erscheint, wo es doch eigentlich weiß sein sollte? Hat sich die diesjährige Wetter-Matrix schon ins html gegerbt oder seh nur ich mit Grauschleier?! Nicht, daß ich auch nur die geringste Ahnung hätte wovon ich rede, aber hier scheint nun immerhin schon den dritten Tag in Folge die Sonne. Himmelblau. Hurra!

Some days ago a big package of rubber has arrived and there's nothing I would love to do more right now,  then getting lost in carving. Carve away the whole lot of rubber. Well, at least I made a start and for the short time the result is quiet satisfying. Luck is more than one silent moment..

Also I sorted and refreshed the shop a little and added a new header (see above, the polar bear needed a vacation!) But why the heck does it show so grey instead of white? Did the weather hack the html?? I don't know nothing about this, but hey - third day in a row with SUNSHINE! Yay!.

eigentlich hatte ich mir es ja fest vorgenommen: keine vögelchen mehr! aber da sitzt man dann bei sonnenschein in der druckkammer am schreibtisch, hört sie zwitschern, sieht sie fliegen und flattern, zweiglein tragen und fröhlich in der erde picken, hat dieses lied im ohr  -  und dann kommt eben das dabei raus. ich hab's genossen, mal wieder ohne konkretes vorhaben einfach drauflos zu werkeln...und den frühling sowieso.

actually i've sworn myself - no more birdies! but well, then i sat at my desk in the sunny printmaking home studio, birds chirping, flying, picking, singing and i have this song in my ear.. so, well, this is what happened. i enjoyed, though, a lot, to work on something without a concept or plan behind, to get carried away. and i enjoy spring, too. a whole lot.
