Open Sesame @ ARThaus

letztes wochenende war ich eingeladen, bei der eröffnung einer kleinen galerie für zeitgenössische kunst, dem ARThaus, in den amerikanischen patch barracks hier in stuttgart auszustellen. leider konnte die ausstellung nur besuchen, wer zugang zu den amerikanischen einrichtungen hat.
es war eine hübsche kleine ausstellung, mit künstlern wie eckhard bausch (zeichnung/skulptur), dean glandon (grafik), dem fotografen yash holbrook und jungen talenten wie collin martindale (malerei) , levi smith(malerei) , brian horsley(video) u.a..
collin, jung und ambitioniert, möchte berühmt werden. ich hoffe schwer, daß sein traum in erfüllung geht! wann war ich eigentlich das letzte mal so motiviert?!

last weekend i was invited to show some of my work at the opening show of the ARThaus gallery, a small gallery project for contemporary art in Patch barracks Stuttgart. Unfortunately you only could come in and see if you had access to american installations. It was a nice little show with artists like eckhard bausch (illustration/sculpture), dean glandon (graphics), yash holbrook (photography) and young talents like collin martindale (paintings), levi smith (paintings) and brian horsley (video) and many more.. collin, young and ambitious, said he wants to be famous. i truly hope his dream will come true! when was the last time that i was that ambitiuous?! so, support your local art crew! see more pics here... thanks to hannah for the invitation, to miss jenny pearlswirl for the contact and of course j for the pics and help with anything
