In Papier gestochen. Von Hand. Als Rapport. Unglaublich.

Happy weekend! (english version below)
Last weekend we spontaneously went to Dresden to visit the exhibition Logical Rain. They have once again discovered more than 15.000 japanese katagami, handcut paper stencils for textile printing, Kimono textiles to be precisely, meant for the Samurai class. A treasure in a wonderful presentation, a feast for your eyes and senses. Most of these delicate patterns were just to much for me, where does it start, where does it end? It's hard to imagine, that all this was created by hand and mind, by humans. Unbelievable. The show is open until February 22, 2015 at the Japanisches Palais, Dresden. The entry is free, the catalogue is free and they are very friendly with children.
Apropos, we also went to the Kindermuseum which is great fun for the whole family. Discover the five senses with your very own senses.
So, filled to the rim with inspiration like this, we were able to take the sunday surprise easily: We almost ran into this not-to-be-honored-with-a-namely -mention-here-movement, which is a shame for Dresden, a city so rich of culture and knowledge and diversity, a shame for any place anywhere. Me for myself,  I have learned a lot about the world and the human being itself  again.  For free. So, eyes open and stay healthy. Happy weekend!

Weihnachten kommt // Christmas coming

Alles andere dann erst wieder ab Mitte Januar. // Winterferien vom 18.Dez.'14 bis 11. Jan. 2015 //

zurück // back

//
...from the island of my heart. We have taken a deep breath, have looked for fairies in the rock caves, found pebbles,  chased lizards, bobbed up and down and were carried away by the sound of the waves. And we rocked a decent party: Little It became 2 yrs old!  Great moments in time.
And now back to work. Hopefully the sardinian magic keeps going strong
