herbst im haus // autumn at home

yesterday you could still catch some little golden autumn glow, but today it's nowhere in sight. well, i like grey. we prefered to stay inside the house, though.
what are you doing on rainy days?

langsam drucken // printing slow

a while ago one of my dear and faithful clients asked me, if its possible to have the slow.blossom printed as picture print, to frame it and hang it on the wall. i said, great idea! let me think about it.. first i thought to print the blossom simply on a pretty blue paper, but this wasn't pretty enough. so after a long way of trying out this and that, i linoprinted the blue and this is what came out of it: the small slow. printedition, handprinted on finest japanese washi, limited to a number of 15. each of the petals again was printed separetely in different colours. as i had so much fun doing this and watching the blossom slowly unfold after each stamp layer, heres a little making of for you...

neues von den // news from the °*happy Häckers*°

pheew, days are flying...here's a little update to my second label happy häckers, it's still there and i have tons of fun printing on fabric. but maintaining two blogs is too much at the moment. what's more is that the kid is taking her first big steps, i spend every free minute in the studio and fall is here. plus i've been to the hairdresser and now carry a short short (!) hair cut, which i never asked for. sigh. and - and i'm a little proud of this - one of my gasometer prints has found it's way into the graphothek (the archive of art graphics) of the Stuttgart library. conserved! for ever ;)
all the best, tinee
